Another Great Museum in the area supporting the History of Northwest New Mexico. The Chase Family was an original settler of Maxwell's land grants. The Ranch recently became managed by the Boy Scouts of American who has kept the history alive. Don't miss the T-Rex Toe knuckle, one of the only in the world, they use as a door stop.
Great historical stop to learn about ranching and local history. Loved the original newspaper about the Titanic sinking! Fun stop for kids as well to look at baby cows and play in the yard.
Visiting here gives an idea of how tightly knit the community has been. Fascinating.
